Success At The Mandalika MotoGP, PLN Will Bring Back Electricity Without Flickering At The International Motocross Grand Prix Sumbawa Besar
JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) will provide electricity without flickering or Zero Down Time (ZDT) to succeed the international Motocross Grand Prix (MXGP) which is planned to be held in the Samota area, Sumbawa Besar on June 24 to 26.
General Manager of PLN NTB, Sudjarwo said that after the success of the international Mandalika MotoGP event with no flickering electricity, PLN was again preparing to electrify the MXGP.
According to him, this is a form of PLN's support for all events, both national and international, which are held throughout the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) region.
"In principle, PLN is ready to support MXGP. We have prepared electrical infrastructure and human resources for the MXGP event," Djarwo said in a statement received by VOI, quoted on Saturday 9 April.
Djarwo said that his party, through PLN, the Sumbawa Customer Service Implementing Unit, is currently coordinating, both with event organizers and related stakeholders, to prepare the electrical infrastructure needed during the MXGP.
The steps that will be passed to electrify the MXGP are the same as the stages implemented for MotoGP. The initial survey was carried out to determine the amount of electrical power needed and also important location points that must be electrified.
"After we know the needs and the number of points, PLN will move to create a network master plan and will also determine the material requirements. Then we will start building the electricity network and infrastructure at the site," continued Djarwo.
The condition of the Sumbawa Electrical System itself is currently still in a normal position. The total capable power is 128.85 MW with a peak load of 113.32 MW. There is still a power reserve of 15.53 MW that can be optimized, both for the MXGP event or for other supporting needs.
