Denpasar City Government Accelerates Achievement Of Strengthening Vaccinations
DENPASAR - The Denpasar City Government, Bali accelerated the coverage of booster vaccinations by deploying officers to visit villagers and sub-districts to give the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
"The steps taken by the city government are in line with the government's program in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, so that it ends quickly through the third phase of the vaccine movement or 'booster' (booster), so it is hoped that group immunity will be formed to cope with the pandemic," said a spokesman for the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling ( GTPP) COVID-19 Denpasar City Dewa Gede Rai in Denpasar reported by Antara, Thursday, April 7.
The booster vaccination for the community was carried out at the Ubung Village office, North Denpasar District.
Meanwhile, Ubung Lurah Dwi Karyna Paramita said that the booster vaccination was carried out by the vaccinator of Puskesmas II Denut in collaboration with health workers from the Bali Police, Denpasar Police, and Bali Stikes, as well as the Brimedika Clinic.
Dua said the type of vaccine that was injected into residents, namely AztraZeneca, with the number being vaccinated today was 211 people from the general public.
"We hope that the 'booster' vaccination or the third stage of the vaccine can increase group immunity in the community. In addition, this implementation can also accelerate vaccination coverage in Denpasar City, so that ahead of Eid al-Fitr so that all people are vaccinated, "he said.
