Police Dismantle Prostitution Under The Guise Of A Cafe In Lombok That 'sells' Employees To Customers
PRAYA, CENTRAL LOMBOK - The Puma Team of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), uncovered a prostitution case under the guise of a dimly lit cafe in the area. A woman who is the owner of the cafe, as well as a pimp, was arrested.
"The alleged perpetrator who was arrested was a woman with the initials S (35), as the owner of a dimly lit cafe suspected of being a pimp", said Central Lombok Police Chief, AKBP Hery Indra Cahyono, in Praya, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, March 6.
He explained that the raid at one of the cafes in the Pujut District was carried out after the Central Lombok Police Puma team received information from the public about alleged prostitution in a dimly lit cafe. Furthermore, members conducted an investigation and managed to secure the alleged perpetrator and some evidence.
He said, from the results of a temporary examination of the mode of offering prostitution at the cafe, initially S (the owner of the cafe) as a pimp offered to visitors the plus-plus services of the employees working at the cafe. After getting an agreed price agreement between the pimps, employees, and visitors, the prostitution service is realized.
"Direct transactions at the cafe", said the police chief.

According to the suspect's confession, she offered visitors a tariff of IDR 500 thousand and the alleged perpetrator also prepared a room to be used as a place of intercourse like husband and wife with a room rate of IDR 50 thousand per bed.
"The perpetrator has been detained for further investigation", he said.
