2 Bima City Government ASN Suspects In Drug Cases

MATARAM - Two State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of Bima City Government, West Nusa Tenggara, with the initials AR and MA were revealed to be suspects in a narcotics abuse case.

The Head of the Bima City Police Narcotics Satres, AKP Tamrin, confirmed that the two suspected narcotics abusers had the status of ASN.

"Yes, that's right, the two people we arrested are civil servants in the Bima City Government," Tamrin said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 5.

He explained that the two suspects, one of whom was a woman with the initials MA, was arrested at the location of the raid target.

The location is in Raba Dompu Barat Village, Raba District, Bima City. The arrest, which took place last weekend, was led by the Head of the Cobra Bravo Team at the Bima City Police, Aipda Awaliddin Syah Putra.

From his arrest, two clear plastic clips containing methamphetamine were secured. The suspect's mobile phone and yellow four-wheeled vehicle were also confiscated.

"Indeed, the evidence was not in the car, but we also confiscated it as evidence of the arrest," he said.

Tamrin said the results of the examination of the two suspects led investigators to suspect that AR and MA had violated Article 112 paragraph 1 of Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics, which regulates the possession of shabu evidence.
