Temanggung Police Increase Supervision Of Distribution Of Basic Needs

TEMANGGUNG - The Food Task Force Team of the Temanggung Resort Police (Polres), Central Java, increased the supervision of the distribution of nine basic needs during the month of Ramadan 1443 Hijriah.

"The Temanggung Police Food Task Force team in collaboration with the regional government is more proactive in monitoring the distribution of nine basic needs, including cooking oil," said Temanggung Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Burhanuddin in Temanggung, Tuesday, April 5.

The police chief said that as we enter the month of Ramadan and welcome Eid, the nine basic needs of the community will increase.

"We will monitor and anticipate that there will be no shortages or hoarding or things that are detrimental to the community or traders," he said, as quoted by Antara.

He said that his party had coordinated and worked together with the SME Cooperatives and Trade Office of Temanggung Regency and a few days ago they had checked with traditional markets and supermarkets.

According to him, the results of checking that the stock of packaged cooking oil in supermarkets and traditional markets is quite a lot with various brands and prices are adjusted according to market mechanisms, but for bulk cooking oil there is not enough.

"Through the Food Task Force Team, we continue to monitor and coordinate with a number of wholesalers of bulk cooking oil in Temanggung," he said.

He said the task force was in charge of supervising the distribution of cooking oil, ensuring stock in the market, especially in traditional markets, and ensuring that there was no stockpiling of bulk cooking oil in Temanggung Regency.

"Monitoring is carried out every day. Our team goes to the field, if there are any discrepancies or problems, the best solution will be sought," he said.
