Persija Jakarta Officially Depak Sudirman And Bambang Pamungkas
JAKARTA – Persija Jakarta has officially released head coach Sudirman. In addition, the team nicknamed the Kemayoran Tigers also released several other staff including Bambang Pamungkas as the team manager.
Persija announced the information through their official website on Monday, March 4. Sudirman was released because he brought Persija to only finish in eighth place in the Indonesian League 1 final standings.
"The management would like to thank the coaches and officials who have worked together to maintain the glory of the Kemayoran Tigers," Persija wrote on their official website, quoted by VOI.
Apart from releasing Sudirman and Bambang Pamungkas, Macan Kemayoran also released 10 of their other staff. The names are Ilham Ralibi (physical coach), Alberto Lungherini (physics coach), Ahmad Fauzi (goalkeeping coach), Ferdiansyah (video technical analysis), Muhammad Araaf Sidik (team secretary), Donny Kurniawan (doctor), Muhamad Yanizar ( physiotherapy), Sutisna (masseur), Ahmad Aditya Subkhi (masseur), and Abdul Rahman Saleh (kitman).
Club president Mohamad Prapanca said that the contracts for the coaches and staff had expired on March 31 yesterday. He also thanked the team for their dedication and loyalty during their time together.
"Despite all the dynamics that have occurred, I as the president of the club would like to thank you profusely. Good luck to all of them wherever they are next season," said Prapanca.
Persija so far have not announced the name of their new coach to replace Sudirman in order to navigate next season. Liga 1 Indonesia 2022/2023 season will roll in June.
Previously, Persija only announced their two new signings. The two players are Hanif Sjahbandi and Firza Andika.
