Night Clubs, Spas To Karaoke Must Close During Ramadan In Tarakan
TARAKAN - During the month of Ramadan, the Night Entertainment Center (THM) in Tarakan, North Kalimantan must be closed.
This rule is in accordance with Circular Number: 300/163/Kesra concerning Public Order During the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri which was issued on April 1, 2022, which was signed by Mayor Khairul.
In the circular it is explained, as regulated in the Regional Regulation of Tarakan City Number 9 of 2011 concerning the Implementation of Tourism Business types of entertainment businesses include massage parlors, messages, spa businesses, nightclubs, discotheques, pubs and bars as well as karaoke.
"It must be completely closed starting two days before the holy month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri until two days after the holy month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri," said Tarakan Mayor Khairul as quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 2.
The circular letter is in order to welcome the holy month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri and Eid Al-Fitr on 2 - 3 May 2022 and appreciate the people who run it.
Another content of the circular letter is that it is mandatory to pay attention to and implement health protocols in every community activity.
Then, the prohibition of immoral practices is in accordance with the Tarakan City Regulation No. 21 of 2000 concerning the Prohibition of Immoral Acts in Tarakan City.
"For those who do not carry out the Ramadan fasting worship, it is hoped that they will always respect our brothers who carry out the Ramadan fasting worship, so as to create internal and inter-religious harmony and peace in Tarakan City," said Khairul.
Next is the limitation of places that involve a lot of people. For entrepreneurs of restaurants, restaurants, food/drink stalls, cafes and similar businesses during the fasting worship of the holy month of Ramadan 1443 Hijriah during the day, they are required to put a cover so that it is not visible from the outside.
In addition, the owner/manager of the poke ball game house is only open from 09.00 to 16.00 WITA.
The public is also advised not to carry out activities that can endanger public order, including sounding all kinds of firecrackers, fireworks and game tools that can endanger themselves and others.
Those who do not comply with this circular will be subject to sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations.
