Police Arrest Father Of Rape Of Birth Child In Bukittinggi
BUKITTINGGI - The Bukittinggi Police Criminal Investigation Unit team, West Sumatra Regional Police (West Sumatra) arrested a father suspected of raping his biological child.
"This incident was carried out by the perpetrator HC (34) after his wife died about a month ago and then there were only three of them with their two small children," said Head of the PPA Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bukittinggi Police, Ipda Tiara Nur, quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 2.
The perpetrator is suspected of raping his 12-year-old biological child under the influence of alcohol.
"The perpetrator is often drunk with alcohol, he was reported from the complaint of the child to the younger brother of the perpetrator who then gave a complaint report, according to him the incident had been carried out twice," said Tiara.
Perpetrators are reported with Police Report Number LP/B/72/IV/2022/Res Bkt/SPKT, dated March 1, 2022.
After receiving the report, the Bukittinggi Police Criminal Investigation Unit Opsnal Team, the Bukittinggi Police Criminal Investigation Unit PPA Unit, the Bukittinggi Police Criminal Investigation Unit, and the Bukittinggi Police Criminal Investigation Unit Picket immediately moved to carry out an investigation.
"From the results of the post-mortem that was carried out on the victim, it was clear that there were irregularities and damage, plus the information from the victim, the team immediately moved quickly to track down the whereabouts of the perpetrator," said Tiara.
The perpetrator was arrested on Friday (1/4) at his home with an arrest warrant Number Sp.kap / 17 / IV / 2022 / Criminal Investigation, dated March 1, 2022.
"The perpetrator avoided and did not admit his actions and tried to fight the officers plus his condition was under the influence of alcohol," he said again.
The perpetrator, who works as an online motorcycle taxi driver every day, is known to have acted for the first time when the last incident he did was vehemently rejected by the child, who then complained to the perpetrator's sister while crying.
Kasat added that now the perpetrators have been secured at the police headquarters to reveal the facts with further investigation.
"We continue to carry out investigations to reveal whether only biological children are victims or there are other victims," he said.
The perpetrators were charged with Article 81 paragraph 3 and Article 82 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection with the threat of imprisonment of up to 15 years.
