Allegedly Helping The Escape, Police Will Check Kusni's Wife And Brother, Siomai Child Abusers In Jagakarsa

JAKARTA - After the arrest of Kusni, the siomai maker suspected of the sexual abuse of minors in Jagakarsa, the South Jakarta Metro Police will examine the perpetrator's wife and siblings. Because, according to the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto, Kusni's family is suspected of helping the suspect escape from police pursuit.

"If there are parties in the pursuit to help us, we will investigate whether that includes obstructing the investigation process or not," Budhi told reporters at the Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday, March 30.

Budhi also said that for now the wife of the perpetrator will be questioned about her purpose in hiding the perpetrator.

"Of course we have to be objective, professional about criminal acts. So anyone who may be involved will be questioned," he said.

Regarding the suspect's brother, who had hidden the perpetrator living at his house in the Garut area, West Java, he will also be questioned.

"In principle, we will ask for information. Then we suspect that we know where this suspect is hiding," he said.

It is known that Kusni who sold somai in Jagakarsa has been detained by the South Jakarta Metro Police in the Bekasi area, West Java, Tuesday, March 29, evening. He was arrested on suspicion of molesting a boy with the initials Z (6) in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta some time ago.

"The arrests last night, (Wednesday) March 29 in the Bekasi area," Budhi told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police.
