Angkasa Pura II Confirms Accumulation Of Prospective Overseas Passengers Taking PCR Test Results

TANGERANG – Overseas Travelers (PPLN) have been queuing in long lines to get a PCR test at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Senior Manager of Branch Communication and Legal of PT Angkasa Pura II KCU Soekarno-Hatta Airport, M Holik Muardi spoke up. He confirmed the incident. Muardi said the incident took place at Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport, Sunday, March 27.

The buildup occurred because of the arrival of planes from abroad who arrived at the same time. Thus, accumulation in the PCR sampling area occurred in the waiting bay area of Terminal 3.

"Yesterday, there was indeed a density in the International arrivals area. Because there were flights that arrived at the same time at around 14.00-17.00 WIB," said Holik when confirmed, Monday, March 28.

Based on existing records, on March 27, 2022, the movement of passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport reached 124,000 people, both arriving and departing.

There were 14,131 international passengers with details of 6,764 arrivals and 7,367 departures.

Therefore, PT Angkasa Pura II and related stakeholders have added health personnel and a place for PCR examination or sampling.

"For our evaluation, we will add health personnel to the area where the PCR is taken, we will also add one more point for the PCR swab test, namely in the Curbside Terminal 3 Arrival area," he said.
