Udayana University Lecturer Becomes A Corruption Suspect At The KPK, Rector: The One In Charge Is Released
DENPASAR - Lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University Bali I Dewa Nyoman Wiratmaja was relieved of his duties after the KPK was named a suspect in a case of alleged corruption in the management of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) Tabanan Regency, Bali in 2018.
"For the time being, the person concerned has been relieved of his duties from the Tri Dharma of Higher Education," said Udayana University Chancellor Prof. I Nyoman Gde was reported by Antara, Monday, March 28.
The lecturer still applies the presumption of innocence. Temporarily, because the person concerned cannot do teaching tasks.
"We will find a replacement from the Teaching Team for the courses being taught. This is very important so that students are not harmed and the lecture process can still run smoothly," he said.
His party appealed to the lecturers who will be tasked with helping the community and certain institutions outside the campus, to take care of their superior's permission first as stipulated by the regulations at Udayana University.
"Hopefully the person concerned can undergo the legal process according to the provisions," he said.
Earlier on Thursday (24/3) the KPK appointed former Tabanan Regent Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti, former Head of the Special Physical Allocation Fund Section II, Directorate General of Fiscal Balance at the Ministry of Finance Rifa Surya and Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University Bali, I Dewa Nyoman Wiratmaja for case of alleged corruption in the management of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) Tabanan Regency, Bali in 2018.
