It Turns Out That 25 Houses Were Burned In Tambora, West Jakarta Due To The Actions Of A Resident Who Burned The Room With Gasoline

JAKARTA - The big fire incident on Jalan Sawah Lio, RT 03/07, Jembatan Lima Village, Tambora District on Sunday, March 27, yesterday, scorched at least 25 houses.

The fire was extinguished by the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Sudin Gulkarmat) at around 18.15 WIB.

According to information compiled by VOI, this fire was caused by a resident who deliberately set fire to one of the houses using gasoline.

"It is suspected that a resident with the initials A (20) deliberately set fire to his room with gasoline. The motive is still being investigated," said Head of the Operations Section (Kasiop) of the West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Sjukri Bahanan, to reporters, Monday, March 28.

Due to the reckless act of the resident with the initials A, the fire spread and spread to several other houses around the starting point of the fire. A total of 120 personnel from the West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. were deployed to extinguish the fire.

After the fire was tamed, West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officers began to collect data at the fire location. It is known, the object of 25 residents' houses that burned was 1,750 square meters.

Although the big fire occurred, fortunately there were no casualties or injuries as a result of this disaster. However, as many as 105 residents from 16 families (KK) were forced to evacuate because their houses were completely destroyed by fire.

"The loss is estimated at Rp 2.7 billion," he said.

Previously, it was reported that black smoke and flames had again hit the Tambora area, West Jakarta, Sunday, March 27, evening. The fire started to redden and continued to grow.
