Ahead Of Ramadan, Tangerang City Government Distributes 5 Tons Of Bulk Oil
JAKARTA - The Tangerang City Government, Banten, will distribute five tons of bulk cooking oil starting next week. This is done in an effort to help meet the needs of the community ahead of Ramadan.
"The distribution of bulk oil will be on Tuesday, March 29 in coordination with the Industry and Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Office of Tangerang City to meet the needs of the community later," said Head of Tangerang City Anyar Market, Ahmad Juhaeni, in a statement in Tangerang, Saturday, March 26.
According to him, the current shortage of food stocks is bulk oil. As for the other stocks in the safe and sufficient category.
In Pasar Anyar, the price of vegetables has decreased, such as potatoes, chilies, eggs and others. Meanwhile, beef and chicken prices remained stable.
The Head of Trade of the Tangerang City MSME Indagkop Department, Shandy Sulaiman, said the availability of basic commodities was safe ahead of Ramadan.
"We carried out inspections at a number of retailers in Tangerang City, the results were in the field the materials were available," he said, as quoted by Antara.
Meanwhile, Tangerang City Food Security Agency Head Abduh Surahman added that his party will also hold market operations starting Monday, March 28 as well as an inspection by BPOM Banten on Wednesday, March 30. "Monday, we will start holding market operations to ensure food stocks," he said.
