Head of the Narcotics Unit, AKP Irwan, explained that the perpetrator was arrested by the police for distributing methamphetamine.

From the hands of the perpetrators, the police confiscated 1.15 grams of methamphetamine ready to be circulated in 3 plastic clips. AKP Irwan explained that the ASN was arrested on Thursday, March 24, in the early hours of the morning.

"We have detained the person concerned from his house. From the perpetrators, we confiscated a scale and 1.5 grams of methamphetamine," said AKP Irwan, Friday, March 25.

The arrest of the perpetrator was carried out after many reports from the public. The suspect was arrested after trying to escape from his house. However, the police found opponents when they wanted to take the suspect to the Madina Police.

Several people suspected of being the suspect's family attacked the police. Irwan said that 3 police officers were injured as a result of being hit with a blunt object.

"When they were about to be taken to the car, there was resistance, suspected to be the family of the perpetrator, and there was a beating against the members of the drug unit. Our personnel also suffered cuts and bruises on the heads of each member of the drug unit and are undergoing treatment," he explained.

Three personnel also had to undergo treatment at the Panyabungan Hospital. Meanwhile, the suspect was detained at the Madina Police for further investigation.

"Three members were taken to the hospital but their condition has improved. We have secured the suspect to the Madina Police for further investigation," he said.
