Government Ensures The 3 Kilogram Gas Cylinders For The Poor, There Is No Price Increase Before Ramadan

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-dept. (Sudin Nakertrans-E) has ensured that the stock of subsidized gas cylinders measuring 3 kilograms in Central Jakarta is safe until Eid a-Fitr 2022.

"It is certain that there will be no increase in the price of gas by 3 kilos. We hope that there will be no shortage because the stock so far is sufficient," said Head of the Energy Section of the Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department (Sudin Nakertrans-E), Bambang Prayitno to reporters, Friday, March 25.

This check was carried out with Pertamina and the National Association of Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs (Hiswana Migas) in Central Jakarta.

"Earlier, we checked with agents and bases that sell 3 kilo LPG cylinders, all stocks are safe until Lebaran and beyond," he said.

Bambang said the price of 3 kilo gas cylinders was sold at a price according to the highest retail price (HET) at a price of IDR 16.000 at the base.

In the same place, Central Jakarta Regional Coordinator (Korwil) of the Association of Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs (Hiswana Migas), Yuswadi said subsidized gas stocks would be safe for subsidized gas even though unsubsidized gas measuring 12 kilograms had increased.

"Indeed, currently gas size of 12 kilos has increased. We hope that people who can afford it do not switch to subsidized gas, so that gas shortages will not occur," he said.
