PEKANBARU - Deputy Chief of National Police Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono reminded the people of Riau not to be euphoric in the midst of the spread of COVID-19 even though they have been vaccinated up to the third dose (booster).

"Although the vaccination achievement is high, it is not impossible that you are still exposed to COVID-19. Keep following the health protocols, wearing masks and washing your hands frequently," he said while directly observing vaccination activities held at the Riau University (Unri) campus in Pekanbaru City. , quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 24.

The Deputy Chief of Police also reminded the public to remind other residents who have not been vaccinated or supplement them with the next dose so that the chain of spread of COVID-19 can be broken.

The Deputy Chief of Police also reminded COVID-19 patients with comorbidities not to self-isolate but to be immediately taken to the hospital to get proper treatment.

"Because by breaking the COVID-19 chain, we will be healthy, our economy will rise and our society will prosper. Let's work together for this," said Gatot.
