BKSDA Will Evacuate Crocodiles In Janti Village, Kediri

His party explained that the crocodile should have been in a lake, swamp or Brantas River, but the crocodile turned out to be in the Janti Village River, Wates District, Kediri Regency.
The team has also set a trap to catch him. BKSDA did secure the crocodile, so it was safe and the people around the river were also safe.

The head of Janti Hamlet, Surdino, said the crocodile was known from reports of residents fishing in the river. Some anglers claim to have seen crocodile sightings in the river.

Previously, the BKSDA had also succeeded in evacuating a 50-centimeter calf in a tributary of the Brantas River, to be precise in Dermo Village, Kediri City.
However, the BKSDA in Banyakan, Kediri Regency, revealed that this was not the first time this finding was made. Since 2020, there have been three reports. As a result, two crocodile calves were successfully evacuated, while the other fled.
