Reluctant To Install Tapping Boxes, Owner Of Balungan Meatballs, Mr. Grenade, Is Willing To Permanently Close His Business Satpol PP Magelang
MAGELANG - The Civil Service Police Unit of the Magelang Regency Government, Central Java, closed the Bakso Balungan Pak Grenade Restaurant on Jalan Magelang-Yogyakarta, Blabak, Mungkid because it was unwilling to install a tapping box or transaction recording device.
Head of Satpol PP Enforcement Section of the Magelang Regency Government, Dolut Tuge, said that after a temporary closure for 30 days, finally the Bakso Balungan Pak Grenade Restaurant was officially closed permanently.
Before this decisive step was taken, the Satpol PP had provided guidance and persuasive steps with a warning to deliberation to the owner of the Balungan Meatball Restaurant Mr. Granat Mungkid as a taxpayer.
However, these efforts still did not produce a meeting point. The owner of the Bakso Balungan Restaurant, Mr. Grenat, still insisted on refusing to install a transaction recording device.
"So finally the restaurant was temporarily closed. Then before entering 30 days, namely on March 18, 2022, we will call the Satpol PP for further deliberation so that they want to install the tapping box according to Perbup Regulation Number 44 of 2021 and then pay taxes," he said in Magelang , Between, Tuesday, March 22.
However, he said, the owner of the restaurant did not change his mind and did not want to install the tapping box. The restaurant owner actually agreed that the place of business was permanently closed by joint officers.
"Until the end, the owner still refused to install the tapping box and let the restaurant close permanently," he said.
Secretary of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Revenue Agency (BPPKAD) of Magelang Regency, Farnia Berliani, said that so far, Pak Grenat's Bakso Balungan Restaurant does not have a permit.
"So, in this system, it is a request by the KPK that when a business does not meet tax provisions, its business license cannot be processed," he said.
