Mayor Of Gibran's Response To Political Issues On The Marriage Dynasty Of Jokowi's Sister And Chief Justice Of The Constitutional Court: Halah Ora Sah Responds
SOLO - Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka refuses to respond to dynastic political issues related to the marriage of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi's) sister, Idayati, to the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Anwar Usman.
"Halah, it's not legal to respond (no need to respond)," he said in Solo, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 22.
When asked about the introduction between Idayati and Anwar Usman, he was also reluctant to respond much.
"Yes, I have heard (beginning of introductions), his son told the story, my cousin Tio," he said.
However, he did not know who first introduced the couple.
"I don't know, ask Mrs. Ida directly, not me," he said.
Meanwhile, he admitted that Idayati was a good aunt. He said that the last time he met his aunt was during the pilgrimage of Jokowi's uncle, Miyono.
"The last time we met was a long time ago, when Pak Miyono (died)," he said. Although he did not know the extent to which Idayati and Anwar Usman's wedding plans were prepared, he admitted that he would be ready if he was assigned to be one of the wedding organizing committee.
Previously, Idayati told reporters that she started getting to know Anwar in October 2021.
"October introduced friends," he said.
He also admitted that he was happy with Anwar's proposal.
"It's a pleasure," he said.
