Ganjar Monitors Provincial Lines Using The Beautiful Road Application, No More Heavy Damage

JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and his SKPD continue to work to protect provincial roads. Most of the length of the road is now in good condition.

Head of the Public Works Department of Highways and Human Settlements in Central Java, AR Hanung Triyono, said that as of Saturday, March 19, the total length of provincial roads had reached 2,404.741 kilometers. The roads are in good condition 1,871,860 kilometers or 77.90 percent, 312,125 kilometers or 12.92 percent moderately damaged, 220.756 kilometers or 9.18 percent lightly damaged, and none of them seriously damaged.

He said, the handling of damaged roads on provincial roads continues to be carried out routinely. It applies several methods of handling provincial roads.

"For example, there is the Surakarta-Gemolong-Geyer section with a length of 30 kilometers. There must be functional activities. Maybe the dismantling of the road shoulder, cutting grass, patching road holes, it's clearly there," said Hanung as quoted from the official website of the Central Java Provincial Government, Sunday. March 20.

Usually, the handling of damaged roads can be done by upgrading or concreting. However, due to the limited budget, the handling is limited to functional maintenance.

"It's impossible for us to do an increase of 30 kilometers or 10 kilometers, because the money is also limited. Priority is functional, functional maintenance, and also there are incremental upgrade packages. Installment. For example, in Surakarta-Gemolong-Geyer, there are still about 10 kilometers that have not been concreted. We are gradual," he explained.

What is clear, said Hanung, is that whenever there is a report of road damage through the Jalan Cantik application belonging to the Central Java Provincial Government, the handling is immediately carried out in at least less than 24 hours.

Not only that, even on national roads or district roads, the public can still report damage to roads and bridges through the Jalan Cantik application. According to him, national roads in Central Java reach 1,518.09 kilometers, with good condition 557.79 kilometers or 36.63 percent moderate damage was 824.70 kilometers or 54.15 percent, slightly damaged 128.63 kilometers or 8.45 percent, and heavily damaged 11.80 kilometers or 0.77 percent.

The regency/city roads are 27,314.31 kilometers long, with good condition 15,582.61 kilometers or 57.05 percent, moderate damage 7,021.58 kilometers or 25.61 percent; slightly damaged 2,639.37 kilometers or 9.66 percent, and heavily damaged 2,070.74 kilometers or 7.58 percent.

"In coordination between the provincial government and the central or district governments, there is already an MoU or cooperation agreement. Namely, the MoU between the governor, the Director General of the Ministry of PUPR, mayors/regents throughout Central Java, agreed that the Jalan Cantik application was used together," he explained.

Thus, the Jalan Cantik application is like a meeting point between reports of damage to national roads, provincial roads, and district roads.

“In the field, implementation of the national road is going faster because the budget is more available, human resources and tools are also available. So each district/city has a ministry, we have an admin. The admin (the Jalan Cantik application) will forward it to the stakeholders," he explained.

Not only that, between leaders also have groups on the WhatsApp (WA) conversation application. So every time there is a complaint, it can also be reported to the inter-stakeholder WA group.

“Their response was quite good. If there is a complaint, we will continue to respond as soon as possible. The response was, for example, the road was crushed, given a sign, it was buried, "he concluded.
