Circulating Video Of Mukomuko Rami Water Production Forest Encroached, KPHP Waits For Liquid Funds To Investigate Big Cukong
MUKOMUKO - The Production Forest Management Unit of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, is still waiting for the disbursement of the budget from the provincial government to safeguard the Air Rami Production Forest (HP).
This step was taken after a video circulated of a number of people encroaching on the forest in the area.
"We have ordered the head of the KPHP section to ask the office regarding the officer's operational budget. Will we use personal funds first after this activity is disbursed," said Head of the Production Forest Management Unit (KPHP) of Mukomuko Regency Aprin Sialoho in his statement at Mukomuko, Antara, Sunday. , March 20.
KPHP Mukomuko previously received a video containing a number of people suspected of encroaching on the Air Rami HP area circulating in this area.
A number of people in the video are suspected to be workers who carry out encroachment activities because they are paid by cukong or capital owners. Based on information from the local KPHP intelligence, it is suspected that there is a big cukong or who provides capital to workers to encroach on forest areas.
The KPHP will coordinate with the provincial DLHK and the local resort police because the agency requires civil servant investigators (PPNS) to arrest the perpetrators of forest encroachment.
In the future, from the results of the coordination, it will be known whether the local KPHP officers are assisted by PPNS or if there are other suggestions. For example, it was submitted to the Center for Security and Law Enforcement (Gakkum) of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
As a first step, forestry officers will investigate first, make a list of the names of the squatters and then submit them to the police so that law enforcement officers can follow up. "The names have been obtained, but they are all workers. We want big cukong," he said.
