The Story Of Mr. Mursidi, The Warkop Owner Who Lost His 3 Kg Gas Cylinder After Leaving The Maghrib Prayer
JAKARTA - Left for Maghrib prayers, a 3-kilogram gas cylinder in a shop on Jalan Andong, Lubang Cost Village, East Jakarta was lost to thieves. The incident, which occurred on Monday, March 14, at approximately 18:37 WIB, was caught on a CCTV camera.
Mursidi, the owner of a coffee shop (warkop) said, judging from the CCTV at the scene, the perpetrators amounted to two people riding a motorbike.
Mursidi explained that the theft occurred while he was performing the Maghrib prayer. So, for the time being the shop he stayed first.
"It was stolen when we were just praying Maghrib, usually no one is here right," said Mursidi to reporters, Wednesday, March 16.
He knew this when Mursidi wanted to turn on the stove to cook. He was surprised that the stove did not give off a fire. After checking, Mursidi realized that the gas cylinder was not there.
"He realized that when he tried to turn on the stove, what was wrong with this stove? I thought the gas was running out, so suddenly the tube was missing," said Mursidi.
After checking through CCTV footage, it turned out that his 3 kilogram gas cylinder was stolen by two men riding a motorcycle.
Mursidi Back explained, the perpetrator entered from Jalan Andong and then stopped around the shop. One person took action, while the other perpetrator waited on a motorbike while observing the situation.
According to Mursidi, the neighborhood around the shop is prone to theft. In fact, three months ago there was also theft of chirping birds.
"It's very vulnerable here, if I'm not mistaken, three months ago, someone stole a bird," he said.
