In Order Not To Go Wild, PPP Asks Luhut To Openly Open Big Data On Election Delays

JAKARTA - Secretary of the PPP faction of the DPR RI, Achmad Baidowi, asked Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan to disclose in detail the big data claims of the people who want the postponement of the 2024 Simultaneous Election. 110 million social media users who are not interested in the 2024 election.

"So, the big data issue needs to be opened up to the public, what kind of big data is it?" said Baidowi at the Nusantara II Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 15. "If the basis is social media, someone should be suspected of having more than one account," he continued.

Regarding the discourse on postponing the 2024 election, Baidowi said that PPP did not refer to surveys and big data as claimed by a number of politicians. Because he said, PPP would still comply with the constitution or the 1945 Constitution which mandates that elections be held every five years. "And the term of office of the president is his term of office once and can be re-elected," said the man who is familiarly called Awiek. Therefore, this member of Commission VI of the DPR RI considers that Luhut must provide an explanation about the intended big data. So that people's claims to want the 2024 election to be postponed can be made clear.

"Mr. Luhut should just convey the data clearly what he said, just explain to the public what the basis is so that this issue is clear," concluded Awiek.
