Make It Easy For Users! Telegram Brings Many Big Changes To The App

JAKARTA - Telegram is rumored to have brought many new visual and functional changes for its iOS and Android users. From the new Download Manager to updated attachment pages, night mode, live streaming and public channel viewing.

The arrival of the new Download Manager in Telegram allows users to view all downloads in one place, and can be accessed from the logo in the search bar that appears when the user downloads something.

Not only that, Download Manager can also be used to pause, resume downloads and increase the priority of certain downloads so that the download finishes first.

A refreshed attachment menu will also be visible if a user sends multiple photos or files to other users. On iOS, the attachment menu has been upgraded to parity with Android, camera options are now integrated into the gallery and the navigation bar provides quick access to photos, files, location sharing, and more.

For Android users who use Night Mode on their device, they will notice the header has a transparency effect that makes the app look better when scrolling.

A similar transparency effect has been in the iOS version of Telegram since June 2021 and the company says it's one of the first Android apps to add this type of effect.

Neowin proclaimed, Saturday, March 12, the next big change is the introduction of live streaming with other apps. Now, Groups and Channels will be able to connect with tools like OBS Studio and Xsplit Broadcaster so streamers can create their own professional TV channels directly on Telegram.

To get started, start a new Video Chat in a group or Live Stream in a channel and press 'Start With' where users can find information to connect their specialist software. People who want to listen should also be running the latest Telegram update.

Another no less interesting is the redesign of the login flow. On Android and MacOS, a new login flow with smoother animations has arrived. Then Telegram also provides phone number linking capability, which allows users to link to their profile using their phone number, if that's easier than sharing the actual username link.

Apart from that, Telegram has also added a new web preview page from the t.me profile page, so that users can view profiles or public channels on the web with better design elements.

For all these new updates Telegram will update automatically in the coming days. Of course, users must also update their application to the latest version.
