Through The 'Ojo Kawin Bocah' Program, The Central Java Provincial Government Is Committed To Reducing Stunting Rates In Various Regions
JAVA - The Central Java Provincial Government is intensifying a program to reduce the number of children with tengkes or stunting in various regions as an effort to realize the 2045 Golden Indonesian Generation.
"The decline in stunting (tengkes) in Central Java exceeds the national achievement, but all must continue to improve performance because it is in accordance with the Indonesian Government's vision in 2045 to realize the Golden Indonesian Generation," said Central Java Provincial Secretary Sumarno in Semarang, Antara, Thursday, March 10. .
The golden generation of the Indonesian nation starts from the family so that various parties must work together to solve the problems that hinder the realization of this.
The Central Java Provincial Government, continued Sumarno, had several programs to prevent early marriage and health care, one of which was the "Ojo Kawin Boy" program.
Sekda Sumarno emphasized that tengkes should not only be prevented after birth, but before marriage or pre-marriage, so that before marriage it must receive attention from various parties.
He even mentions early marriage is also the main cause of tengkes.
"No less important is the support from academics through various programs including through real work lectures (KKN) by involving students, especially family planning and stunting in poverty alleviation programs in Central Java," he said.
