Former Russian Gymnast Turned Mistress Of Vladimir Putin, Alina Kabaeva Hidden In Switzerland

JAKARTA - Russian President Vladimir Putin is reportedly hiding his mistress Alina Kabaeva in Switzerland. It was done in the midst of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

Until now, Putin is known to have not remarried after divorcing Ludmila Putina in 2013. However, the number one person in Russia, 69 years old, is rumored to have had an affair with the former Olympic athlete.

Relations between Putin and Kabaeva have been public since 2008. They reportedly have four children from this relationship.

Launching the Daily Star, Tuesday, March 8, the young children are currently with Kabaeva in a luxury Swiss villa. The four children include their seven-year-old twin daughters who were born in the country.

The same report states that Putin's four children with Kabaeva all have Swiss passports. In addition, Putin also has two adult daughters, namely Maria and Katerina, the result of a marriage with his ex-wife, Lyudmila.

Kabaeva, now 38, an all-around bronze medalist at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and gold in the same category at the 2004 Athens Olympics, has rarely been seen in public since relations with Putin surfaced in the press.

Previously, Kabaeva had a relationship with David Museliani, who is a police officer. However, the relationship foundered in 2005.

Last year a statement from Kabaeva came two years after she was last seen in public, with a source close to the former gymnast saying of relations with Putin: "We do not comment on the rumors."

Meanwhile, Putin once said that “I have a private life in which I do not allow interference. It must be respected."

Kabaeva won a total of 14 World Championship medals, and 21 European Championship medals during her illustrious career. It's no surprise that he was appointed torchbearer at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.

When she was at the peak of her fame, Kabaeva had made a scene in Russia by becoming a nude model for the Russian magazine, Maxim.
