Assessed Rigid By The Survey Institute, PDIP Senior: Puan Maharani Is Open And Responsive
JAKARTA - Senior PDIP politician Hendrawan Supratikno, responded to the results of a collaborative survey of Politica Research and Consulting (PRC) and Indonesian Political Parameters (PPI) which placed DPR RI Speaker Puan Maharani as the 'caretaker' or the lowest position in all presidential candidate criteria.
According to him, the survey results could still change overtime before the 2024 General Election.
"The survey results will be dynamic, up and down," said Hendrawan, Monday, February 7.
Hendrawan denied that Puan's survey, which was still distended, was because the Chair of the PDIP DPP was too rigid to be out of the box. He considered, the assessment is only a matter of perception.
Because according to him, Puan Maharani is a person who is open, solution-oriented, and responsive.
"Regarding flexibility and 'out of the box' assessment, this is a matter of perception. As far as I know, Mrs. Puan Maharani is open, willing to hear input, solution-oriented, and responsive," he said.
In addition, added Hendrawan, other candidates were more exposed to the media than Puan. Mainly as an executive.
"Executive candidates usually benefit because they have more media exposure," he added.
Previously, the PRC and PPI collaborative survey released a key opinion leader (KOL) survey of presidential candidates for 2024. As a result, Puan Maharani occupies the lowest position in all presidential candidate criteria.
PPI Executive Director Adi Prayitno explained the factors that made Puan Maharani always in the lowest rank. Adi called Puan's skills 'diving' into society, which still looks stiff compared to other candidates.
"First, it's actually simple to explain, in terms of exposure quality, maybe Mrs. Puan is too tight in quotation marks. Even if she makes comments, her capacity as DPR leader is always not out of the box," said Adi Prayitno in a survey release event entitled 'Perceptions of Key Opinion Leaders' (KOL) against the 2024 presidential candidate in Central Jakarta, Sunday, March 6. "Slightly different from the 10 characters, she often displays a personality quality that is out of the box, which is not only related to her position as a public official in this country," he continued.
The PRC and PPI surveys were held from January 5 to February 5, 2022 using qualitative studies. There were 207 influential figures in their fields (KOL) who were interviewed face-to-face. The hundreds of figures spread across 34 provinces consisted of 6 backgrounds, which included academics, religious scholars, humanists, media practitioners, economic actors, and NGO activists. Aspects surveyed are visionary, political leadership, intellect, political skills, political communication skills, emotional stability, leadership style, religiosity and nationalism, appearance, moral integrity, and capability.
