Canelo Alvarez Vs Kamaru Usman Opportunity Is Enough, Each Can Get Rp1.43 Trillion

JAKARTA - Canelo Alvarez has a chance against UFC welterweight champion and number one cross-division boxer, Kamaru Usman in 2022.

Usman will most likely turn to the ring and could face boxer from Mexico, Alvarez, this year. While Alvarez himself is expected to fight in May, September and December.

"I already said, in 2022 I will shock the world," Usman told TMZ quoted from Marca, Monday, March 7.

"International Fighting Week July, I will fight Leon Edwards. God willing I can get past Leon Edwards; September Mexican Independence Day, I will stop Canelo Alvarez!" continued this Muslim fighter from Nigeria.

"Of course I will win, everything can't be done until it's finished."

Usman then discussed the payoff and claimed he and Alvarez could get at least $100 million each if they dueled.

"We're talking nine figures, for sure," he added.

Meanwhile, Alvarez is currently preparing to face Dmitry Bivol on 7 May. He then responded to Usman's comments.

"Payday, payday," Canelo said, grinning, on The MMA Hour.
