Ronda Rousey Calls For Release Of Cain Velasquez Arrested For Attempted Murder

JAKARTA - MMA fighter and wrestler Cain Velasquez has been charged with attempted murder. Ronda Rousey joined in.

He allegedly shot a truck carrying a man he believes sexually abused his underage family members.

He was arrested on Monday last week and is being held without bail at the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

However, there is a campaign calling for the release of Velasquez and Ronda Rousey is one of them.

"I would have done the same if not worse," Rousey wrote on Twitter, along with the hashtag #FreeCain.

It is alleged that Velasquez followed a 43-year-old man named Harry Goularte through several cities in Silicon Valley.

He hit a Goularte truck with his own vehicle and shot it. Goularte's stepfather who was driving was also injured.

Goularte himself was recently arrested for sexual assault cases involving minors.
