Jokowi Targets Spending IDR 400 Trillion On Domestic Products, Minister Of Industry Strengthens Cross-Sectoral Synergy
JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has set a target for spending on domestic products (PDN) and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of IDR 400 trillion for the 2022 period. national economy.
In response to this, Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said the President's directives could be realized well through synergy and collaboration of relevant stakeholders.
"We appeal to stakeholders, consisting of ministries/state institutions, local governments, BUMN, and BUMD to carry out the implementation of P3DN (Program for Increasing the Use of Domestic Products) consistently," he said in a press statement today, Sunday, March 6.
According to the Minister of Industry, P3DN is a state policy to utilize the budget obtained from the people, from the management of resources controlled by the state to be re-managed in the form of empowerment of the real economic sector, namely the industrial sector.
"Stakeholders can coordinate the technical implementation of the delivery of needs plans and the formation of the agency's P3DN Team with the P3DN Center of the Ministry of Industry," he said.
He added that LKPP and BPKP will monitor and facilitate the agencies that will carry out the expenditure, so that full coordination will be created to realize the President's directive regarding PDN and MSME spending.
"We encourage all parties to implement the use of domestic products at all opportunities, and contribute to realizing a deep love for Indonesian-made products," he said.
To note, the implementation of the P3DN program is regulated in the provisions of Law Number 3 of 2014 concerning Industry jo. Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018 concerning Procurement of Government Goods/Services.
Procurement must use products with TKDN (domestic component level) of at least 25 percent when there are products with accumulated TKDN and Company Benefit Weight (BMP) of at least 40 percent.
