MEULABOH - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 struck Aceh Jaya District, Aceh.

"So far, there have been no reports of damage, we are still trying to collect data," said the Head of BPBD Aceh Jaya, Fajri, quoted by Antara, Saturday, March 5.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said the epicenter of the Aceh Jaya earthquake was 82 km southwest of Calang, Aceh Jaya, Aceh.

The location of the Aceh Jaya earthquake was at 4.57 degrees north latitude and 94.84 degrees east longitude with a depth of 17 kilometers.
