Evacuation Of Eight Bodies Of PTT Employees Of Papuan KKB Victims Scheduled For Monday 7 March

JAKARTA - Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri stated that the evacuation of the bodies of eight employees of PT Palapa Timur Telematika (PTT) who died as a result of the KKB atrocities was scheduled for Monday (7/3).

The bodies of PTT employees have not been evacuated because they are still waiting for 17 residents from Beoga who will assist the evacuation process to arrive at the TKP which is located on the border between Puncak Regency and Kab. Intan Jaya.

A total of 17 residents from Beoga are assistance from the Regent of Puncak who will walk for two days to the TKP which is the camp of PT. PTT, explained Inspector General Pol Fakhiri to Antara, Saturday.

The Papuan Police Chief, who was contacted via his cell phone, admitted that the 17 Beoga residents might arrive on Sunday (6/3) or Monday (7/3) and if conditions permit, an immediate evacuation will be carried out.

The plan is that the seven bodies will be taken to Sugapa first and then flown to Timika.

"The evacuation of the bodies of PTT employees is waiting for information from the public who are currently walking for two days to the TKP," explained Fakhiri, while hoping that everything will go smoothly without any significant problems.

When asked about the evacuation of Nelson Sarira (NS), who is currently in the Department of FOP at PTT, he is now in Timika, the Papuan Police Chief expressed his gratitude because the victims had been evacuated and were safe.

"Nelson Sarira is still being examined by the medical team and it is reported that he is still traumatized so he cannot be questioned," said Inspector General Pol Fakhiri as quoted by Antara.

These are the names of eight people who became victims of the Papuan KKB violence in Beoga, namely three PTT employees, namely Billy Garibaldi, Renal Tegasye Surea, and Bona Simanullang, residents who were guides for Gogon - Bebi Tabuni and three contractor employees namely Jamaluddin, Syahril Nurdiansyah, Ibo, and Eko. Septiansyah.
