Report SPT Online, Jokowi: It's Easy And Hassle-Free

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reports his Annual Notification Letter (SPT) online using an e-filling application that he accesses from the Merdeka Palace.

After filling in, Jokowi views that the online SPT reporting procedure is quite easy because he and all taxpayers can do it without having to come to the tax office.

"Today, I report my annual tax return online via e-filing. The method is easy and hassle-free because there is no need to go to the tax office, it can be done anytime and from anywhere," Jokowi said in a Youtube video broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat, Friday, March 4.

Jokowi invites taxpayers to immediately report the Annual Income Tax Return before the predetermined deadline, which is March 31, 2022.

"Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters who have not submitted their annual tax returns, report them immediately. Remember, the last date is March 31, 2022," said Jokowi.

Jokowi revealed that the taxes paid by the public were very useful to support various government development programs, both in terms of health during the pandemic and the recovery of economic conditions.

"The taxes we pay are very necessary to support development programs, especially for economic recovery, increasing people's purchasing power, restoring health, including vaccination programs," he added.
