Dozens Of MSMEs Are Threatened With Not Being Able To Sell At The MotoGP Bazaar
MATARAM - The Department of Industrial Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Mataram City, NTB, said that dozens of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) were threatened not to meet the requirements to participate in the bazaar to welcome MotoGP in Mandalika, March 18-20, 2022.
"Of the 100 MSMEs that we have proposed, maybe no more than 10 will be accommodated. The rest are in danger of not being able to take part", said Head of the Mataram City Industrial Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service Head, Dedi Supriadi, in Mataram, NTB, Friday, March 4.
According to Dedi, one of the reasons many MSMEs in Mataram City are threatened not to be accommodated is because of the MSME requirements that must have a shop or showroom, because they will be placed in the VVIP area in the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok Regency.
"Meanwhile, our MSMEs are mostly home-based producers who do not have shops", he said.
He said that the requirement to have a shop for participants in the MotoGP MSME bazaar was not a joke, because a team from the province would conduct a direct survey of the location of MSME actors.
"So in this case we cannot help MSMEs. The requirements for the MotoGP bazaar are stricter than the bazaar during the November 2021 World Superbike motor racing event, so that at that time we could enter 22 MSMEs", he said.
However, continued Dedi, MSMEs that cannot be accommodated in the bazaar in Mandalika can be accommodated in the MSME bazaar activity which will be held on the same day, 18-20 March 2022, in four locations.
The four locations were in Sangkareang Park, which was carried out by the Mataram City Cooperative Service, then at Loang Baloq Park, it was carried out by the Mataram City Tourism Office.
Furthermore, in the area of the Islamic Center and the former Selaparang Rembiga Airport, which was held by the NTB Provincial Government. "MSME actors can choose one of the locations according to their domicile", he said.
For example, said Dedi, SMEs that produce in Sekarbela District can choose Loang Baloq Park, while if they are domiciled in Mataram or Selaparang Districts they can choose the former airport, Sangkarenag Park, or the Islamic Center.
"It is the same for MSMEs in Cakranegara and Sandubaya sub-districts. Hopefully, this opportunity can be used as part of the recovery.
