Bareskrim Says Nurhayati Has Violated The Law But Has No Malicious Intent In The Case Of Alleged Corruption In The Citemu Village Fund, Cirebon
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police stated that Nurhayati's status as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of village funds has died by law. Because from the case titles carried out by the Cirebon City Police and the Cirebon District Attorney's Office, there was no malicious intent from Nurhayati in this case.
"The result of the title decision or the conclusion of the title states that against Nurhayati there was indeed a violation of the law but there was no malicious intent," said the Director of Corruption Crimes at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Department, Brigadier General Cahyono Wibowo, to reporters, Tuesday, March 1.
In addition, in this case, continued Cahyono, the Attorney General's team also conducted a case. Where, the results found errors in the handling process based on the results of the examination.
Examination is a test or examination of the indictment (prosecutor) or court decision (judge).
"The Attorney General's Office also carried out a case study of the case, then this is the same opinion that there was carelessness," he said.
"So the results of the discussion, the West Java High Court issued an examination," continued Cahyono.
On that basis, the prosecutor's office decided to stop Nurhayati's case, which had been delegated by the Cirebon City Police investigators. Termination is carried out by issuing a Decision on Termination of Prosecution (SKPP).
"From this result, it was agreed that the meeting will be held tonight, so that they are both in stage 2, which will then be stopped by the District Attorney's Office," said Cahyono.
