The South Sulawesi Regional Police Investigate The Case Of A Police Officer With The Rank Of AKBP Allegedly Oblivious To A 13-Year-Old ART ART

MAKASSAR - The Security Profession Division (Propam) of the South Sulawesi Police is investigating a case of alleged molestation by a middle-ranking officer (pamen) of the South Sulawesi Police against his household assistant (ART) who is still in junior high school with the initials IS.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Regional Police Kombes Komang Suartana said the case of the alleged molestation was now being investigated by the Propam Division of the South Sulawesi Police.

"After the information was received, the Propam Division then carried out further investigations and deepening," he said in Makassar, Monday, February 28.

He said if the alleged criminal case was carried out by a police officer, the victim must report it to the Propam Division, both at the Regional Police and at the Polres in each place.

He himself does not know the details of the case and the South Sulawesi Police Propam is still conducting further investigations and investigations.

Previously, based on information received, the alleged molestation case was carried out by a member of the South Sulawesi Regional Police with the rank of AKBP against his household member named IS. The 13-year-old student is a resident of Griya Barombong. IS is suspected to have been tampered with by the police after IS became a household member at the South Sulawesi Regional Police official's house since September 2021.

IS himself admitted that he had been molested from November 2021 to February 2022 because he was constantly forced and lured to pay for his education, including paying for his family's living needs.

The IS victim himself explained that he was living in poverty with his family and accepted a job as a household member at the police house.

IS also admitted that his employer forced him into his second home because there were family members in his first house.
