Not Afraid Of Embargoed, Former President Dmitry Medvedev Affirms That Russia Doesn't Need Western Countries
JAKARTA - The former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev boldly asserted that Russia does not actually need diplomatic relations with Western countries.
Medvedev frankly said he fully supports Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision regarding the Red Bear State's actions against neighboring Ukraine.
"Russia actually does not need diplomatic relations with the West after the West imposed sanctions on Moscow for what it called Russian military operations in Ukraine," Medvedev said on Saturday, February 26, as reported by Antara.
Medvedev, writing on social media, said it was time to "lock the embassy."
He said Moscow would continue its operations in Ukraine until it reached the goals set by President Vladimir Putin.
Medvedev made comments on his verified page on the Russian social network VK.
Western countries have imposed economic sanctions on Vladimir Putin and other Russian leaders.
