The Prabowo-Puan Maharani Axis Declaration In Bali

DENPASAR - The Prabowo-Puan axis in Bali declared the pair Prabowo Subianto and Puan Maharani to be presidential and vice-presidential candidates in the 2024 presidential election.

The Prabowo-Puan Axis declared itself in Denpasar Bali. Prior to the declaration of dozens of Prabowo-Puan supporters from every district and city representative in Bali, they also distributed a number of basic necessities to the public in the parking lot of The Hub Resto And Grill, in Sanur, Denpasar, Bali.

Coordinator of the National Presidium of the Prabowo-Puan axis, Andianto said that the basis of this declaration was based on the aspirations of youth and community leaders to elect Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate and Puan Maharani was the vice presidential candidate.

"We have declared one pair of candidates, namely Mr. Prabowo Subianto as president and Mrs. Puan Maharani as a vice-presidential candidate," Andianto said, Wednesday, February 23.

According to him, the declaration was made on November 3, 2021. Currently in Bali, the Prabowo-Puan Axis has also been declared.

"We formed the new area in Banten Province and the second in Bali Province. Most likely we will move in Java and Kalimantan and Sumatra," he added.

Within one year, his party targets the Prabowo-Puan Axis to be in 34 provinces in Indonesia. This declaration is called an aspiration even though it has not been communicated directly with Puan-Prabowo

"This is the community's aspiration that we capture from youth and community leaders. In principle, the community wants Prabowo and Puan Maharani to run for president and vice president," he said.

"Until today, we have not communicated directly with Mr. Prabowo and Puan Maharani. We have asked Prabowo Subianto and Puan Maharani as well as PDIP and Gerindra to support this pair," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the Prabowo-Puan Axis Presidium, Ida Bagus Made Surya Cakrabawa, hopes that this declaration will receive a positive response.

"So we hope that in the future the community will accept our presence in Bali. We are not inviting or mobilizing, but we want to give a new perspective, hopefully what we are doing can provide political inspiration for political parties in the future," he said.
