During The Third Wave Of COVID, Task Force Records 763 Health Workers In Bogor Exposed, Majority Of Isoman 10 Days

JAKARTA - The Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force, West Java, recorded that 763 health workers were exposed to COVID-19 during the third wave of transmission, January 2022.

"A total of 763 health workers were exposed from a total of 2,800 health workers with mild symptoms so they had to self-isolate for 10 days," said the Regent and Head of the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Ade Yasin in Cibinong, Bogor, Antara, Thursday, February 17.

The daily number of COVID-19 cases in Bogor Regency also jumped dramatically in the third wave of transmission, reaching 1,915 cases per day.

So that the implementation of the acceleration of vaccination continues, the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force collaborates with the TNI/Polri, especially to hold vaccinations for children aged 6-11 years and recipients of booster or third dose vaccines.

"We are assisted by the TNI/Polri, there are also professional organizations and companies that have health workers. So we maximize vaccinations, including in clinics and hospitals," he said.

Ade Yasin said that so far the implementation of vaccinations in his area has been running smoothly, vaccination campaigns continue to be carried out, such as at SDIT Al-Madinah, Cibinong, Bogor last Thursday in the form of booster vaccinations, vaccinations for the elderly, and vaccinations for children.

The Bogor Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force continues to pursue vaccination targets in its area. He noted that the overall achievement of vaccination was 70.68 percent, especially for children, the first dose was 85 percent and the second dose 54 percent.
