Ganjar's Electability Drops In The Survey, Observers Consider The Wadas Chaos To Be Profitable, Mrs
JAKARTA - The electability of the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate for 2024 has been observed to decline in several recent surveys. This decrease was assessed as the effect of chaos in Wadas Village, Purworejo, Central Java.
Political communication observer from Esa Unggul University, Jamiluddin Ritonga, assessed that the chaos that occurred between the officers and residents in Wadas Village had become a wild ball that harmed Ganjar.
In this context, he said, Puan Maharani, who had been his rival in the presidential race, had benefited from the decline in the electability of Ganjar Pranowo.
"Ganjar's loss is certainly an advantage for Puan," said Jamiluddin in Jakarta, Thursday, February 17.
According to Jamiluddin, the chances of Ganjar's candidacy are getting smaller because of his declining electability after the Wadas case, especially as a presidential candidate from the PDIP.
"The decline in Ganjar's electability is certainly beneficial for Puan to become a presidential candidate from PDIP," he said.
Even so, Jamiluddin said, Ganjar can still restore his electability if he is able to solve the Wadas case. In fact, he said, Ganjar's electability could still skyrocket if his alignment with the people was real, not just on social media.
"Of course, any increase in Ganjar's electability will make Puan angry. Because the increase in Ganjar's electability will be a pebble for Puan to run for president in 2024," said Jamiluddin.
Previously, in the results of a survey conducted by the Indonesian Survey and Polling Institute or abbreviated as SPIN, Ganjar Pranowo's electability decreased due to the Wadas Village incident. 95% confidence. The method used is robability sampling and multistage random sampling. Interestingly, said the Director of SPIN Igor Dirgantara, the electability of Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan above Ganjar Pranowo. In fact, according to him, in August 2021, Ganjar Pranowo's electability was at 15.6 percent and fell in December 2021 to 13.1 percent.
Furthermore, Ganjar Pranowo's electability will continue to decline until February 2022.
"In February 2022, his electability (Ganjar) fell again to 12.8 percent," said Igor, Monday, February 14.
