Don't Worry, Black Status Cares To Protect COVID-19 Cases Will Change Automatically After Isoman
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) asks the public not to worry about the status of the PediliLindung application when exposed to COVID-19 and has recovered.
Expert Staff to the Minister of Health for Health Technology, Setiaji said, the black status on the PeduliLindung application will change automatically when the COVID-19 case finishes undergoing self-isolation (isoman) even without a repeat PCR test.
The status of the application, Setiaji said, will automatically turn yellow if the person has just been vaccinated with the first dose and green if the second dose has been vaccinated.
"In the confirmation case, the black status returns to its original color after the PCR test twice with negative results is carried out the fastest on H+5 and H+6 since being positive for COVID-19 with an interval of at least 24 hours," Setiaji said in his statement, Wednesday, February 16th.
"Without a retest, the black status will automatically be completed on D+10," he continued. Setiaji explained the color calculation for the PeduliLindung status when he was positive for COVID-19. The black status in this application will appear when the date of the PCR lab results or the positive COVID-19 antigen comes out. Then, COVID-19 cases can do a PCR test on H=5 and H+6 are positive.
"The retest must go through a PCR examination. A negative test result with an antigen is not recognized. If the results of the two PCR tests are negative, the black status is complete and automatically returns to its original color," Setiaji said.
Meanwhile, without retesting using PCR or when the test results are still positive, self-isolation must be continued for a minimum of 10 days and the black status is complete on D+10 since being tested positive for COVID-19.
If 10 days of isolation have been completed, the Care for Protect status will automatically change to its original color.
