Dorce Gamalama's Family Confirms Death Of COVID-19
JAKARTA - Sad news came from Dorce Gamalama. After battling his illness for a long time, he was declared dead today, Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
This sad news was confirmed by Hetty Sundjaya, a relative and good friend of Dorce Gamalama.
"Yes. He is still in the hospital at RSPP Simprug," said Hetty Sundjaya.
The family could not bring Dorce home because the COVID-19 pandemic was still ongoing.
"He's called COVID, so he can't be brought home, maybe the hospital that takes care of everything doesn't know how the funeral is for COVID, they don't know," said Dorce.
Hetty explained that Dorce had been exposed to COVID-19 for almost a month. It is not yet known whether this also affects Dorce's overall condition.
"He contracted COVID three weeks ago. It was half past 8. I'm sorry, God. Greetings friends. Sorry for his mistakes and sins so far, thank you very much," concluded Hetty Sundjaya.
Dorce Gamalama is a singer and presenter. Career from stage to stage, Dorce popular after hosting the Dorce Show in 2005.
A series of soap operas that he has starred in are Dorce Sok Familiar, Dorce Meets a Match, Mas Likes to Just Enter, and Ghost Biang Kerok.
Towards the end of his life, Dorce suffered from a number of diseases including diabetes and Alzheimer's. He is known to have been hospitalized several times before being pronounced dead on February 16. Dorce Gamalama died at the age of 58.
