Pangdam IX/Udayana Asks Soldiers Not To Be Arrogant When On Duty

DENPASAR - The Commander of Kodam IX/Udayana, Major General Sonny Aprianto, asked the soldiers to maintain good manners and not be arrogant in their assignments and work in each region.

"The emphasis is on members who are clear as soldiers of the regional command apparatus, that the role of the TNI must be a solution in the midst of society to overcome problems that exist in the community, they must be polite, friendly and not arrogant," said Major General Sonny Aprianto at the Korem 163 Headquarters. /Wira Satya, in Denpasar quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 15.

The Military Commander said that in carrying out his role as a TNI soldier, a humanist and persuasive approach to the community was also needed. In addition, it is able to accommodate and be a solution to social problems in society, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aprianto, who has only been in office for about two weeks, has made a working visit to the Kodam IX/Udayana area, namely Bali, NTT, and NTB to find out the problems that are happening there.

The former deputy for counter-intelligence at BIN has coordinated and communicated in the work areas of Bali and NTT, then continued to NTB. He stated that the monitoring in the areas of Bali and Nusa Tenggara was carried out starting from the Korem level followed by the ranks of the Kodim.

They emphasized the importance of the role of TNI soldiers to be present in the midst of society, to be polite, and not arrogant to the community.

Previously, during a working visit at the Tactical Command Headquarters of the RI-RDTL Pamtas Task Force which is currently being carried out by the Infantry Battalion 743/PSY in Atambua Barat District, Belu Regency, NTT, he stressed to all soldiers of the 743/PSY Infantry Battalion to always be vigilant and improve security in every activity.
