Bogor City Government Targets Rehabilitation Of 4,286 Uninhabitable Houses In 2022
BOGOR - The Bogor City Government, West Java, assisted in the rehabilitation of 4,286 uninhabitable houses (RTLH) with a budget of around Rp44.4 billion in 2022 so that the total RTLH rehabilitated could reach the target of 20,000 units or more.
According to the Head of the Bogor City Housing and Settlement Service (Disperumkim), Juniarti Estiningsih, the budget allocated by the government together with the local Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) is higher than in 2021, even though the number of targets is less.
"This is a form of attention from the government and the council, public welfare issues remain a priority despite the COVID-19 pandemic," said Esti in Bogor City, Monday, February 14.
He compared the budget allocation in 2021 to around IDR 40 billion for 6,506 RTLH units with the achievement of 17,000 assisted units.
Meanwhile, in 2022 the target is reduced but the budget is still maximized.
Even though the Bogor City Government had reduced the budget by Rp. 10 billion to 3,300 units, because in the draft regional revenue and expenditure budget (RAPBD) the City of Bogor discussed with the DPRD at the end of 2021 for 2022, there was a deficit.
However, the results of discussions with the Bogor City DPRD, finally a budget of Rp. 44.4 billion has been determined.
A total of 4,286 RTLH which will be assisted through the Bogor City Regional Budget are spread across six sub-districts in stages until the end of 2022.
The houses of residents who receive assistance will undergo an administrative process before being managed at the Regional Finance and Assets Agency (BKAD).
Furthermore, residents will receive housing repair assistance according to the level of damage and funds prepared by the Bogor City Government.
"It's spread out, yes, you have to look at the Friends System for details," he said.
