Police Arrest 4 Members Of The Brother Stressed Gang Of Youth Who Searched For Missing Cats Who Were Shouted At By Thieves To Death
JAKARTA - The police arrested four perpetrators of the beating that resulted in the death of LEH (17) in the Tarumajaya area, Bekasi. The beating was because the victim was accused of being a thief while looking for his pet cat.
"Without asking any further questions, without further ado, he (the perpetrator, ed) tripped it out with a sharp weapon," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Friday, February 11.
The four perpetrators who were arrested had the initials AB (21), RF (19), FH (19), and IA (17). They are part of a motorcycle gang called Brother Stress.
From the results of the examination, this act of persecution was carried out because one of the perpetrators provoked it. The victim was shouted at as a thief.
"Then suddenly someone shouted 'thief'. Then the victim got on a motorbike but immediately they (the perpetrators, ed) intercepted," said Zulpan
In addition, the results of the examination also revealed that the perpetrators could be at the scene because they intended to fight. Thus, they have prepared themselves by carrying sharp weapons
"Those who hang out with sharp weapons are planning to have a brawl in Tanjung Priok so equip themselves with sharp weapons," said Zulpan.
In this case the police are still hunting for two other people who are still at large. They have the initials MAM and A.
Meanwhile, the other four have been detained. They are charged with Article 170 Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 12 years in prison and Article 338 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 15 years in prison.
Then the suspect was also charged with Article 2 Paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951 with a threat of 10 years in prison and Article 80 Paragraph 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.
