BOYOLALI - The active cases of COVID-19 in Boyolali Regency, Central Java Province for the past two days, have continued to grow, bringing the total to 184 people.

"Active cases of COVID-19 in Boyolali increased by 25 cases and Thursday, February 10, another 26 cases were added, bringing the total to 184 cases. The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases was 24,806 cases," said Head of the Boyolali Health Office, Dr Puji Astuti, as quoted by Antara, Thursday, February 10.

According to him, of the 184 active cases of COVID-19, 23 cases were undergoing treatment at the hospital, 160 cases were undergoing independent isolation (isoman), and one case was undergoing centralized isolation (isoter).

A total of 26 additional new cases of COVID-19, he said, came from the Boyolali sub-district of the city as many as 8 cases, then Sambi 7 cases, Ngemplak 4 cases, Nogosari 3 cases, Mojosongo, Banyudono, Ampel, and Karanggede one case each.

"There are 184 active cases, from seven clusters. The majority are family clusters and there is one other cluster from transmission at the factory in Banyudono," he said.

He said residents who had been declared cured of COVID-19 in Boyolali increased by four cases bringing the total to 23,209 cases or around 93.6 percent. Meanwhile, the death toll was nil, so there were still 1,413 cases or around 5.7 percent.

He said the number of hospitals (RS) in Boyolali that served the isolation of COVID-19 patients in Boyolali were 9 hospitals with a capacity of 185 right to sleep. The hospital bed occupancy rate (BOR) as of Thursday was 36 patients or around 19 percent. However, Boyolali is in the low risk zone with yellow color and the COVID-19 public health index (IKM) score is 2.55.
