Milan Vs Lazio 4-0: Rossoneri To Coppa Italia Semifinals Meet City Rivals Inter Milan

JAKARTA - AC Milan shaved Lazio four goals without reply in the Coppa Italia quarter-final match at San Siro, Milan on Thursday morning.

Olivier Giraoud scored two goals in this match, while the other two goals were scored by Rafael Leao and Franck Kessie respectively. Reporting Antara, this victory brought Milan to the semifinals which will be held in March. They certainly met with city rivals, Inter Milan, who had already advanced after beating AS Roma 2-0.

Milan had to wait until the 24th minute to score his first goal in this match. Rafael Leao tore Pepe Reina's goal after his shot headed into the bottom right corner. The score became 1-0.

Lazio tried to respond to Milan's goal as quickly as possible. Several opportunities were obtained, but none of them resulted in a goal.

Milan was even able to double the score in the 41st minute. Olivier Giroud tore Lazio's goal from close range after utilizing Leao's assist. The position is 2-0.

Lazio seemed to be playing aimlessly after conceding their second goal.

Giround again tore Reina's goal in injury time by utilizing feedback from Theo Hernandez to close the first half with the score 3-0.

Lazio coach, Maurizio Sarri, tried to improve the situation by making three substitutions at once in the 51st minute. It looks like Lazio's game has improved a little, but has not produced satisfactory results

In the 70th minute, Milan spread a threat to Lazio's goal. Alexis Saelemaekers received the ball in the corner and immediately sent in a cross which Ante Rebic headed but his effort went wide on the sidelines.

Milan widened the scoring gap in the 79th minute. Daniel Maldini's free kick caused chaos in the Lazio penalty area and Franck Kessie took advantage of the situation to make it 4-0.

The 4-0 score lasted until the end of the match and Milan was declared the winner.
