2 Perpetrators Of Beating Drunk People In Malang Arrested By Police

MALANG - The Sukun Police Team from the Malang City Police, East Java, arrested 2 perpetrators of the beating on Jalan Pelabuhan Tanjung Emas, Bakalan Krajan Village, Sukun District.

Deputy Kapolresta Malang City AKBP Deny Heryanto said the perpetrators arrested were WD (21) and DE (28). The two youths were reported to have ganged up on a victim named SW 21 at the start of the new year 2022.

According to Deny, the incident began when the victim suddenly came to the residence of the perpetrator WD in a drunken state. He shouted saying he was not a thief but still had a family relationship with the suspect.

“After that, the perpetrator WD took the victim out of the house. Outside the house, the two of them got into an argument that ended with the victim being hit 3 times in the stomach," said AKBP Deny, Wednesday, February 9.

After being hit, the victim then ran away screaming to get home to get a machete. In the middle of the road, another perpetrator, DE, chased the victim and beat him up until the victim fell into the sewer.

After the incident, the victim reported to the police by showing the results of the post-mortem. After an investigation, the police arrested the two perpetrators of the beating.

As a result of their actions, the two suspects will be charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code on violence.
