West Ham Reach Top 4 Of Premier League Standings

JAKARTA - Jarrod Bowen's single goal in the second half brought West Ham temporarily up to the top four in the Premier League standings. The Hammers successfully beat Watford with a score of 1-0 at the London Stadium, London, Tuesday night local time.

Launching Antara, in that match, West Ham had difficulty scoring goals because of the strong defense line from Watford and forced the 0-0 draw to last until the first half was over.

In the second half, West Ham introduced midfielder Manuel Lanzini to replace Said Benrahma who could not show his best performance in the 60th minute.

David Moyes' decision to bring on Manuel Lanzini finally paid off in the 68th minute after the Argentine was able to send home Jarrod Bowen.

Jarrod Bowen was the hero after scoring the only goal after his shot hit the foot of Watford defender Samir and turned out of reach for goalkeeper Ben Foster to make it 1-0 for West Ham.

In the rest of the match, West Ham were unable to create additional goals, while Watford were unable to equalize which made the score 1-0 for the Hammers victory to stay afloat.

Thanks to this result, West Ham successfully climbed to fourth place in the Premier League standings with 40 points past Manchester United who drew 1-1 with Burnley, on the other hand, Watford remained stuck in 19th position with a score of 15 points.
