Ukrainian Caucasians Who Became Victims Of Beatings In Bali Will Be Deported If Proven To Do Business
DENPASAR - Head of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkum HAM) of Bali Province, Jamaruli Manihuruk, said that Ukrainian citizen Oleg Zheinov (53) would be deported if he was proven to have committed a violation, namely the motorbike rental business in Bali.
Oleg Zheinov, who was the victim of the beating, came to the alleged perpetrator of the assault, Volodymyr Kamisky (30) to ask for his rented motorbike to be returned.
"We'll see from the residence permit, it's a visit permit that shouldn't be allowed to rent a motorbike. If it's true that renting a motorbike is a violation, we can take one action, so we can also expel it from our country," said Jamaruli, Friday, February 4.
"There are many Indonesians who rent motorbikes now. If there is, he takes such markets, which is not correct. From that incident, it can be assumed that maybe later if the inspection is proven. Yes, we will take action immediately," he added.
Oleg Zheinov and Kamisky are both Ukrainian citizens. Oleg Zheinov is known to have been in Bali before January 2021. Meanwhile, Volodymyr Kamisky has been in Bali since January 2021.
Meanwhile, four foreign friends of the alleged perpetrators are still being searched by the police and immigration.
"Hopefully there will be results in the near future. We will also convey this to the media. Of course, from an immigration perspective, if we are caught, we will immediately expel or deport them from Indonesia," he explained.
From the report received by Jamaruli, a group of Caucasians had admitted to being Interpol when they mistreated the victim.
"According to the information we got, it was like that, but we have to clarify this again. Without inspection, we cannot only receive information from one side," he said.
Previously, the Head of the Bali Police, Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra, said that two people were being investigated in the case of beating foreigners in Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.
"There are two in our investigation," said Inspector General Putu at the International Arrival Terminal at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, Thursday, February 3.
In addition, his party also emphasized that the foreign conspirators were not international police aka Interpol.
"Not the international police, they are here and there and the dispute is between them and we have handled it, hopefully it will be resolved in the near future," he added.
The Bali Police Chief said that the case is still being investigated. Because, the victim is still reporting cases of abuse and beatings.
"We are still studying this, reporting to each other, one reporting abuse, one reporting beatings," he said.
